  Thorpe Park Rides: Zodiac
Can the G Force hold You in your Seat!!

Zodiac is very similar to Enterprise at Alton Towers. It is a standard wheel with carriages placed on the outside of a flat wheel. As the ride starts moving the wheel tilts up to 90 degrees in the air, creating a thriller of a ride and add to the effect of no harnesses to hold you in with only gravity acting as your restraint to your seat. It can make it a very thrilling ride. The cage can hold a maximum of 2 people.  Don't judge a ride till you have experienced it for yourself!!!

Thorpe Park Rides: X NO WAY OUT
X NO WAY OUT

X is a backwards rollercoaster with the added bonus of being in the dark. It was introduced in 1996 and was meant to be a big hit, but it didn’t quite make it. The whole theme for the ride is outstanding and if you have never been on it before it is definitely worth it.  Recently Thorpe Park has added a lot of special effects to the ride to make it more scary and realistic.  X is not a continuous rollercoaster, there is a lot of stopping and starting so you can take in the different effects and strobe lighting. Very different but still worth the ride.

  Thorpe Park Rides: Samurai
Can your Stomach Take the Punishment!!

Samurai was removed from Chessington world of Adventures and moved to Thorpe Park for 2004. It was one of the most popular rides at Chessington, so it should be a success along side other flat rides such as Vortex and Quantum. Some say its like being on a huge swing out of control, spinning and being swung really high to capture a view of the whole park.  The ride can vary from short to long depending on the queues.  You wouldn’t want to be on this one for very long, as you might feel sick after all the ups and downs and spinning around.  This is definitely one you will not forget!!

  Thorpe Park Rides: Quantum
Ride The Magic Carpet

This Magic Carpet ride is one for the hard stomachs out there. If you have just eaten I do not recommend this to you. The ride takes on a swinging motion backwards and forwards and over the top, reaching heights of 5, 10, 15 and a maximum of 45 feet. You are pushed to different limits being lurched forwards, backwards up and down. Your never quite sure whats going to happen next. (You might feel a little dizzy on exiting the ride).

  Thorpe Park Rides: Vortex
Swirl with Vortex
Vortex is one intense ride! As you take your seat in one of the arms of Vortex you look across at the other riders, and seeing scared faces and buzzing faces. Everyone is waiting for the floor to drop away and to be swung left to right and whilst spinning round in circles experiencing high speed rotations and reaching a height of 65ft.  One of the best flat rides in the UK.

  Thorpe Park Rides: Colossus
Experience the First 10 LOOP Rollercoaster!!!! Colossus
Colossus is one hell of a rollercoaster. It takes you on a ride you have never expected, taking you into the depths of the Lost City and plunging into water caverns.  It starts off with a steep slow climb 100ft above the Lost City, before soon dropping into the first vertical loop and concluding with four consecutive inline twists, and a surprise twist onto the final brake-run. Once 10 looped never forgotton!!
