I visited Alton Towers back in July and would just like to say how good I thought it was. The rides are fantastic!! There are so many good rides there like Rita and the log flume, which you get totally soaked.
Rita takes your breath away by accelerating you to 0-30 in under 3 seconds. You cannot wait until you get to the bend to slow down abit! It makes your stomach go all the way south.
Nemesis is still my favourite Roller coaster as it still has some of the best thrills and it lasts the longest. Another great ride is Spin Ball Whizzer it makes you think your going to come off the track at every corner but you just go round the corner and carry on.
I recommend the fast pass if you go on a weekend, as otherwise you will queue for hours just for one ride. It does cost abit more but its so worth it. If you do not want to spend the extra on the fast pass go for the single ride lines which can save you loads of time and most of the time you still end up going on together.
Overall a great day out, shame the weather cannot always be great.
