  Alton Towers Rides: Ug Bugs
A Fairground kiddies Ride
The Ug Bugs is just for kids (no adults allowed). The kids fly the bugs around a central pillar with controls to make the bug fly higher or lower. A definite favourite for the youngsters.

  Alton Towers Rides: Ug Swinger
A Fairground Family Ride
The Ug Swinger has 48 seats all attached to the circular roof by long chains. Once everyone has climbed into their seats, your lifted up into the air and the spinning begins. As the seats are swinging out, the circular top tilts causing you to go up and down whilst spinning round. A good fun ride for all the family.

  Alton Towers Rides: Corkscrew
Abit dated now but still a classic
The corkscrew was first opened in 1980, it was the first double looper rollercoaster in europe. It was the main attraction, pulling in people from all over the country, but now it is known as being a very bumpy ride. "
